Welcome to the DGfA (German Society for Research on Aging)

The DGfA was founded in 1990 and is a non-profit association. 

The DGfA is committed to the advancement of aging research in Germany and in German-speaking countries. A better understanding of the biological basis of aging helps to improve the diagnosis of aging-associated diseases and supports the development of new molecular or cellular therapies for the treatment of these diseases. To this end, the DGfA conducts, among other events, the annual DGfA Annual Meeting.
