Die diesjährige DGfA Jahrestagung fand am CECAD Forschungszentrum und MPI für die Biologie des Alterns an der Universität zu Köln statt. Prof. Linda Partridge, MPI-AGE, und Prof. Manuel Serrano, CNIO Madrid, gaben einen hervoragenden überblick über ihre neuesten bahnbrechenden Erkenntnisse auf dem Gebiet der Alternsforschung. Die DGfA Jahrestagung hat einmal mehr die Gemeinschaft der Alternsforscher in Deutschland bei anrgenden Diskussionen zusammengebracht.

Die DGfA gratuliert den diesjährigen Fritz-Boege-Preisträgern:
Bester Kurzvortrag: Ronny Hänold, Fritz-Lippmann-Institute
Bestes Poster: Olivier Baris, University of Cologne
Der von Prof. Fritz Boege, Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf, ausgelobte Preis ist mit jeweils 500 Euro dotiert.

Die nächste DGfA Jahrestagung wird vom ehemaligen DGfA Präsidenten Prof. Lenhard Rudolph in Jena am 4. Und 5. Dezember 2015 abgehalten.
